3 lbs Pasteurized Honey* - added at end of boil, steeped 10 min
1 oz Perle (8.2%) - added during boil, boiled 60 min
0.5 oz Fuggle (4.8%) - added during boil, boiled 30 min
0.5 oz Fuggle (4.8%) - added at end of boil, steeped 10 min
165.0 mL WYeast 1084 Irish Ale
Very tasty. This was the first brewing of this beer.
But it wont be the last.
*Honey was pasteurized by adding it to 2 cups of water and heating to 178 deg. F
I heated it in a 2 quart Stainless Steel sauce pan on the stove.
It was than removed form the heat and covered until I added it to the boiled wort.
